Determining Task Priority To discover this, you can prioritize your activities in terms of their urgency and importance. Urgent issues demand your immediate attention or action while important issues are personally meaningful. Activities can be placed in four categories Category 4 - Not urgent and not
important : Category 4 activities involve looking busy (e.g.
shuffling papers, hurrying to and fro, organizing your desk). You
may convince yourself that endlessly revising your time management
plan is an important activity when, in fact, it is time-wasting.
Activities in this category are neither urgent nor important and
should be removed from your daily schedule. Determining the 4 levels of Task Priority:
